The Awesome Parade continues…

Wanna see gorgeousness incarnate???

Well take a gander at what the amazing Dan Rouse made out of some bits of Pear Tree:

Now, I’ve only known Dan for a few months now, but in that time I have come to both cherish him as a friend and worship him as a quilter. His quilts make me go all week in the knees: we’re talking the full-on David Cassidy or Davy Jones response. I’m just showing the one picture of Pear Blossom here ’cause I demand that you immediately head over to Dan’s blog and see the rest of the pictures and read all about this amazingly awesome quilt. I am so not worthy…

And do you know what? The fabulous fellow sent me and Bee this quilt, which he made in his most recent workshop:

When I opened the box I am pretty sure I squealed, and Bee’s face absolutely lit up. Then she demanded to immediately go upstairs and have a nap with it. Now that’s love…

Luckily it is big enough that Bee and I can share it on the couch. Your generosity, Dan, astounds me. I hope you can sense the mega-appreciation and love coming through the æther. So Dan, thank you so incredibly much for the beautifulness you’ve created with Pear Tree. I am so insanely flattered that you could see such awesomeness in my designs. You have no idea how much it means to me.

To the rest of you, go check out Dan’s Blog, and then head on over to his Etsy shop: so much beautiful…

(I totally need to become rich and famous so I can buy every single quilt Dan ever makes. Oh, and Dan, those quilt prices are way too low for the awesomeness involved.)

Seriously, go now.

Hugs,
Thomas
