Just in the nick of time I received a package from the Netherlands. Nicole of Follow the White Bunny fame and I concocted a bit of embroidery (I whipped up the design and Nicole performed the embroidery wizardry) just for this pillow…
I love, love, love what Nicole did with the design!!! We hope to have this available as a pattern really soon. In the meantime I am just so glad it came in time for me to whip up the pillow this afternoon and get it packed safely in my suitcase for Market. (Darn you slow international shipping!!!)
But know what my favorite part of that picture is? Look over in the top left. See that orange spool of thread? That is the very last of my Aurifil; I made it through all the quilts and pillows with just that much to spare. The last minute baby quilt really cut things close. Phew… Time to restock.
Actually, what it is really time for is sleep. I have to get up at 4:03 tomorrow morning (a little more than 6.5 hours from now) to catch my flight to Houston. Oh the things we do…
