It’s been a busy week of sewing along with the writing and thinking. This morning I finally finished up one of the bits of writing/contemplating this morning and posted it to the blog, so now it is time for a peek at some of the sewing…
I’ve been getting some samples ready for the step-out photography for the book and decided to take that as a chance to make another quilt for Baby Rabbit…
I didn’t have a lot of time, so it seemed a great place to use all the different colors and scales of the Aileron Dots I designed and put up on Spoonflower…
I still need to finish the binding, but that will have to wait because I need to save that process for the photographer (I may have a nifty something up my sleeve there), but I love all of these colors…
And I really love the backing I chose. It’s just a bit of something I found at Joann’s, but I think it plays a rather cool line of pretty and punk, which really works great with the Aileron Dots themselves…
So, yay for doing stuff on Spoonflower!!!
Can’t wait to get this all finished up and let Baby Rabbit start drooling all over it.
