Seven days (and look what I got)…

Seven days until the book is officially out there!!!

I can’t believe it. But if you want a sneak peek next weekend and are heading to AQS Quilt Week – Lancaster, you can stop on in at Ladyfingers Sewing Studio in nearby Oley where all the quilts from the book will be on display (along with lots of copies of the book for sale a couple of days early)…

Yep, they are doing a trunk show with every single one of the book quilts!!!

Oh, and as a little present to myself, and come Bee’s next birthday for her, I may have just picked something up. One has to celebrate somehow, right???

The quilt shop I have been teaching at here in Cambridge (Sew Creative) happened to have a dear old 221K (the UK edition of the featherweight), and they may just have given it to me in exchange for my next class. And I may just have been very happy with that arrangement…

I think it is just going to have to come to Market with me. The blocks we will be doing in my booth for the next Bumble Beans Basics gather aren’t just going to magically appear after all…

(Everybody go make a quilt and send it to Victoria. Please!!!)

So, to sum up: seven days (go pre-order if you haven’t already), pretty new (old) machine, quilts for Bumble Beans Basics…

(Can you tell I am getting a bit nervous and antsy???)

rats…Oley is 2600 kilometers away from where I live. I would have loved to have been able to see the trunk show and bought a book!!
What a great exchange for teaching a class.

You do sound excited–and rightfully so with AQS Quilt Week coming up and the new book! That machine is a beauty–am so envious! Sounds like a fair and great exchange for classes taught and a great way to celebrate. Got a notice from Amazon that my copy of your book pre-ordered should arrive soon–am so looking forward! Also, have a couple of quilt tops for BBB (kid size)done and intend to get them together and quilted after finishing the monster I’m working on at the moment.
