Now that it seems unlikely that we shall see the grass (and/or sun) again until April it is time to get back to sewing. Every December it gets a little hard to work, not just because of the holidays and stuff, but because it is the last hurrah for sky and ground around here. The idea of going for a walk on something other than a sheet of ice or a swamp of slush is irresistible. Those last rays of winter sunshine are like a siren call to procrastinate all the work.
Well, January is here. The snow is piling up higher every day. The sun has beat its hasty retreat. There is nothing for it but to hunker in and work…
Though Bee does do a rather good job of inducing distractions…
