Home (with a fabric chicken)

Finally home from Quilt Market; it only took 28 hours. Yay plane delays and stuff!!!

When I got home I gave Bee the FQ bundles I got for her. She almost immediately sat on one of them and informed me that she was a fabric chicken. That is apparently where fabric comes from. I believe chicks lay FQ bundles, hens (and roosters) lay yardage, and fabric cows lay bolts.

I really want a fabric farm!!! But only as long as I can have this chicken; I’m pretty sure that’s where the SisBoom awesomeness comes from…

Thomas, dear. That rooster isn’t going to lay fabric or anything else. It doesn’t work like that, not even in imaginary Fabric Land. I’m sorry. You’ll have to get some fabric hens, and just one fabric rooster to make sure the fabric hens keep laying.

Actually, Bee did tell me that I am a fabric rooster and had to say cock-a-doodle-doo. But when I told her that would mean that I couldn’t lay fabric she told me, “It’s okay; fabric roosters can too.”

Since Bee is the authority on fabric roosters I’m gonna stick with her opinion on the matter…

      Yay fabric roosters!!!
