So, I was at my mother’s house last night with the family and guess what she brought out: a picture of me as a wee one, of course. But this isn’t just any picture; it is of me on the boardwalk of Asbury Park, the inspiration for my next collection (out any day now) Asbury…

That boardwalk print in the background has become one of my favorite binding prints; I love, love, love small stripes for binding!!!
Oh, and while I am at it I just got in the test re-strikes of Thesaurus; we actually had them printed on three different tints of base-cloth in an effort to finally eradicate any vestiges of dustiness that some of my colors have been having in final production. I am really happy to say that I think this has gotten it. Oh the woes of using funky in-between and totally impure colors…
Anyway, here’s a sneak peek at what is coming up later this spring with Thesaurus, my collection in conjunction with Quilts for Kids…

Yay fabric!!!

I love the boardwalk stripes! I must get some of those, you are right they are perfect for binding. And I love your new Thesaurus collection. I had to Google “zumbooruk” and now I am a little bit smarter.
Zumbooruk is now one of my very most favorite words. I think I need to design an embroidery pattern illustrating it…
Thesaurus is looking so striking – can’t wait!!
I will end up buying yards and yards of Boardwalk! And I can hardly wait for Thesaurus.
