B & C…

Well, thanks to yesterday’s post I am already a day behind on the ABCQAL; so it’s time to play a little catch-up. Today we’ll cover B and C.

Here is the block for B, dots in the left-top and left-center positions…

And of course, B is for Bombilating, a buzzing sound as in the buzzing of the bees. Of course Bee has always loved this word, so I simply had to slip it in the long word print from Thesaurus.

And here is the block for C, dots in the left-top and right-top positions…

For those keeping track, C is for concatenation, which is a series of interconnected events, ideas, etc. I’ve always thought of quilts as unique concatenations of fabric, which is why I chose it for C. Also, it just gives a wee shout out to my geeky programming past.

Today’s post needs to be a quick on as I am jotting this off as Babbit takes a nap and K is off working in the library. So much to do. So much to do…

More tomorrow with the letter D, and perhaps a bit more on life here in Cambridge.

So, happy cutting and sewing everybody…

Best,
-t
