A Winner…

Hi all…

Sorry I’ve been away so long; my poor, tired computer got a well-deserved crash, or at least that is the way I am phrasing it in order to stay on my laptop’s good side. The hard-drive died and we had to go through a long data-recovery process and then wait for a new hard-drive to come in. But, at last, I am back and up and running…

And let me tell you I am running these days. So much going on that I can hardly believe it. Get ready for a whole slew of announcements in the coming months…

Speaking of announcements, it is time to announce the winner of the Quilt Market Scavenger Hunt Giveaway!!!

We only had a dozen entries, so Katy put them in order, but didn’t tell me what order. Then Bee picked a number and sent that number along to Katy, and thus we found our winner…

Bee chose 2…

So, our winner is Marg from Victoria, Australia!!!

Yay Marg!!!

Your prize packs will be on the way ASAP, though they might take a wee bit to make their way all the way to OZ…

Congrats, and thanks for playing along…

But now, since you haven’t seen Bee in a while, a picture. This is us at the Storytelling Festival; she insisted on a Ladybug costume. She made the crown at school and we whipped up the spots on the shirt the morning before we left. Ain’t she adorable???

Now I must get back to work to finish a giant pile of stuff on my desks both real and virtual so I can get started on the Summer of Scrap Vomit soon. Yay SV!!!

Yes, your Bee is adorable, even as a Ladybug!
Thomas, I was playing with my own scrap vomit squares collection today and have no idea how to go about putting the bits together. Do you have a plan and if so, are you willing to share it? Thanks!

Bee is the cutest ladybug I have ever seen. So glad you got all your computer stuff back. Now go out and buy yourself an external hard drive that you can back your important stuff onto. I’m not usually bossy but it really is necessary.

I will be getting some SV posts up soon. I promise. Just getting through an insanely hectic period, and then I will be back to the blog full-time. It is gonna be the summer of Scrap Vomit!!!

    Welcome back! 🙂
I’ve been working on a new storage system for my scraps. I came across a “lot” of 2″ stuff. I would’ve sent it to you if I’d known it was here!! So I decided I’d make a cloth for a picnic table (while we camp–often). It turned out about 50″ x 80″ and is worthy of barbecue sauce, ketchup, and all sorts of other stuff on it. 🙂
It’s a good example of “measure twice, cut once.” 🙂 🙂
